BEAVER, PA, Nov. 11, 2015 – Leanne Rogowski, former Beaver County Times special events coordinator, has been selected as venue manager for the newly renovated $2.7 million Beaver Station Cultural and Events Center. In this role, she is charged with booking events such as wedding receptions and meetings and activities for corporate and non-profit organizations as well as managing social and cultural events for the Beaver Area Heritage Foundation.

“Leanne is the perfect person to lead Beaver Station’s engagement in our community and create unique, memorable experiences in our elegant vintage space,” said Beaver Station Chair David O’Leary. “Proceeds she generates will help support a wide range of historical education and cultural initiatives of the Heritage Foundation and Museum.”

More About Rogowski – For the past 16 years, Rogowski developed revenue-generating community events for the Times ranging from the Home & Garden Show and Food Expo to the Senior Fair and Bridal Fair. She also helped create new special sections of the newspaper, including Women in Business, Top 20 Employers and Children’s Directory. Earlier, she was membership and marketing coordinator for the Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce. She resides in Beaver with her husband and two sons.

More About Beaver Station – Built in 1897 as the passenger station of the Pittsburgh & Lake Erie Railroad, Beaver Station has been restored to its original grandeur following a five-year planning and construction project including a $2.7 million fundraising campaign.
