Annual July Concerts in Irvine Square Compared to a ‘Norman Rockwell Painting’

Often compared to a Norman Rockwell-like painting, the Beaver Area Heritage Foundation will host its annual free patriotic concert in the park — in an open-air, leafy setting — on Sunday, July 1, 2012, at 7:00 p.m., at the Gazebo in Irvine Square.
This year’s performance will be a festive “double header,” with back-to-back shows by the Beaver County Wind Ensemble and the Monaca Cornet Band.
The usual crowd of about one thousand people is expected.
Should weather become a factor, the concert will been moved to the Beaver High School auditorium.
There is no charge to attend. Concert-goers should bring their own chairs, or blankets if preferred. Beaver Borough Festival Committee is helping to support the event.
