Speaker Series Presentation
Brighton Township’s Richmond “Little Red” Schoolhouse
Join us for a viewing of Brighton Township’s Richmond School House: A Story of Restoration, a locally produced 13-minute documentary celebrating the history, resilience, and restoration of the iconic “Little Red” Schoolhouse, which served the community from 1844 to 1950.
After the viewing, there will be a panel discussion featuring Bryan Dehart, Brighton Township Manager; Jason Bumblis, Documentary Director/Producer; and Mark Miner, Heritage Foundation Board Member, Heritage Museum Board Chairman, and program emcee. They will share behind-the-scenes stories about creating the film, the challenges of capturing a historical mood on video, and the creative source of funding as a loving legacy.
Refreshments will be served. Bring a friend!
