Out of the Unknown, a poignant tribute to one of the many unsung heroes of World War II. This captivating exhibit is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays from March 23 through end end of November 2024. The artfully crafted display unveils the remarkable story of Frank Grdenich, a local hero hailing from Bridgewater, Pennsylvania, and a proud graduate of Beaver High School. Through a series of compelling images and narratives, Out of the Unknown offers a glimpse into Frank’s extraordinary life journey, culminating in his ultimate sacrifice while serving his country on the WWII battlefield.
Frank Grdenich’s story is one of bravery, selflessness, and unwavering dedication to his nation. Born and raised in the heart of Beaver County, Frank’s journey from small-town America to the global stage of war exemplifies the resilience and courage of the Greatest Generation.
